New Online Database Tracks County Building Inspections

New online database helps track construction permits in St. Lucie County.
St. Lucie County’s Planning and Development Services Department has launched a new online service that allows contractors to check the status of their inspections.

Contractors and residents can access the online daily inspector schedule directly at by clicking on the Inspection Schedule link

“This is the first of many planned improvements to our level of service in an effort to make it easier to do business with St. Lucie County,” said Building and Code Regulations Manager Monica Graziani.

The new online service provides a list of daily inspections, the permit number, inspection type, address of subject property, inspector’s name and the status of inspection (approved, failed or other). Once the inspector has completed the inspection, the results will post immediately online, eliminating the need for the contractor to wait until the end of the day to call in to get the results of their inspection.  Additionally, the contractor can view the list of inspections and see first-hand where they are on the list.
