Program Description


 The St. Lucie HOME Consortium administers HOME Investment Partnership Program funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). A limited amount of assistance is available to purchase a home in the unincorporated areas of Martin and St. Lucie Counties. Household incomes must not exceed the limits below.

* Household income must be at least $25,000

Applicants must have the following in order to apply:

  • A mortgage pre-approval from a participating lender. A list of lenders can be found here
  • A contract to purchase a home in unincorporated Martin or St. Lucie County;
  • A homebuyer education certificate from a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency;
  • A signed and completed application. To begin the application process, please complete the Pre-Application located here. You must have a mortgage loan pre-approval of at least $100,000 from a participating lender prior to completing the Pre-Application.

Applications will be accepted beginning March 19, 2018. 

The last day to submit an application has been extended from March 23 to April 20, 2018.
