Research Parks

St Lucie County truly defines the cutting edge in developing an environment for bio-science, research and emerging green technologies. Nowhere is the success and leadership of this innovative partnership more apparent than at the two research parks in the research

Tradition Center for Innovation (TCI)

Tradition Center For Innovation
Located in the new community of Tradition in Port St. Lucie, TCI is the research park for laboratory, office and production facilities and home to the Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Science, the Mann Research Center and the Oregon Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute. TCI has created an innovative and collaborative environment intended to create synergy between the resident research facilities. TCI features 150 acres of shovel-ready sites in a prime location at I-95 and Tradition Boulevard. Like all of St. Lucie County, TCI is close to leading universities in the region and the other research centers through-out St. Lucie County.

Located in the heart of the County's Green Jobs Corridor, the Treasure Coast Research and Education Park is the result of another innovative partnership of St. Lucie County, the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Science (IFAS), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the St. Lucie County School District. The Park consists of more than 1,600 acres devoted to bio-technology and agriculture research. IFAS and the USDA have been conducting agricultural research in the Park for more than a decade. Today, the Park Authority is developing the master plan for the 160-acre core campus for bio-technology research and education. Beginning in late 2011, the core campus will feature shovel-ready sites for firms engaged in green-oriented commercial innovation and research facilities.
