Treasure Coast Genealogical Society Programs

Volunteers from the Treasure Coast Genealogical Society (TCGS) are available at the Fort Pierce Branch Library, 101 Melody Lane, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon in the Genealogy Section on the second floor. They will work individually with Library patrons to find and document ancestors. They will answer questions on genealogy, show you how to access genealogy websites and use the genealogy reference books, and assist you in getting started in genealogy. On most Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. genealogy volunteers will hold Genealogy Interest Group (GIG) clinics, where they will give free advice to members of the public on any aspect of genealogy. There are no GIG clinics in December; they resume in January:

Jan  3: US Census

Jan 10: Writing Your Own Story

Jan 17: Regular TCGS Monthly Meeting, Debra Magrann, Creating Photo Memories

Jan 24: Basic Family History/Genealogy Organizing

Jan 31: Family History Scrapbooking

The TCGS meets at the Fort Pierce Branch Library (downstairs meeting room) the third Tuesday of the month, September through May at 1:30 p.m. All meetings are free and open to the public.

For more information about these programs please contact Linda Hudson at 772-467-1246 or Kathy Browning.
