Tuesday, November 14, 2011 - Oxbow Offers Card Making Class Nov. 19

In this world of gizmo’s and gadgets, you can express your love and friendship by giving a gift that’s made by you. Three-dimensional collage cards are beautiful and can be framed or scrapbooked, or just saved in a memory book. One thing for sure – these won’t be thrown away but will be cherished for years to come.

On Saturday, Nov. 19, learn to make collage cards, iris folded cards, Zentangle cards and more at the Oxbow Eco-Center. No artistic talent required. It’s easy. Treasure Coast Art Association artists Debbie Perdue and Barbara Fuller will walk participants through everything step by step.

The cost of $20 allows participants to make four cards, with more available. Art classes are held in two sessions: 10 a.m. - noon for adults and 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. for ages 8 and up.

Your special cards will put a smile on someone’s face and in their heart this year! Space is limited, please call the Oxbow Eco-Center to register at 772-785-5833 or oxbow@stlucieco.org.

The Oxbow Eco-Center is a St. Lucie County Environmental Learning Center located at 5400 N.E. St. James Drive in Port St. Lucie on 225 acres along the St. Lucie River.
