Wednesday, January 4, 2012 - Libraries Host Fatherhood Program For January

The St. Lucie County Library System announces its parenting program "Father & Child Connection" for January.

Eric Seibenick will lead the open discussion focused on recognizing and engaging in important “fathering” times at the Morningside Branch Library on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. and at the Fort Pierce Branch Library on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. This month’s session will be a discussion of how a father sorts through his own experiences as a child, as well as various cultural influences, in order to choose his parenting style.

The Morningside Branch Library is located at 2410 S.E. Morningside Blvd., Port St. Lucie, while the Fort Pierce Branch of the St. Lucie County Library System is located at 101 Melody Lane, Fort Pierce.

Funded by the Early Learning Coalition of St. Lucie County, this program is a United Way of St. Lucie County member in partnership with the Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County.
