Friday, May 4, 2012 - Oxbow's Nature For Families Presents Animal Moms May 12
Discover some of nature’s unique moms as the Oxbow Eco-Center looks at mothering techniques from the caring embrace of the Wolf Spider to the forgetfulness of the Box Turtle. Join the Oxbow staff on Saturday, May 12 at 10:30 a.m. to experience this special Nature for Families program.Participants will try their hand at the “Momma Hispid Cotton Rat” race and make a unique reusable gift to take home for mom.
Nature for Families is appropriate for ages 5 and up and is designed to involve parents and children in the discovery of nature. The cost for this program is $4 per participant. Reservations are a must.
