Thursday, February 11, 2010 - Extension Office Offers New Monthly Money Management Series Starting March 1
Starting in March, the University of Florida/IFAS-St. Lucie County Cooperative Extension Office will begin offering a free Monthly Money Meeting at Morningside Branch Library on the first Monday of each month.These evening discussion sessions will provide participants with no-nonsense answers to financial questions and provide tools that residents and families can use to eliminate debt, build wealth and develop their financial future. Each month a new subject will be addressed by Extension staff and industry professionals, starting at 6 p.m. Topics scheduled to be discussed include:
- March 1 - Budgets Don't Work, Spending Plans Do!
- April 5 - The Best Way to Control My Credit
- May 3 - Saving and Investing is a Present for My Future
- June 5 - Love and Money: The Ultimate Relationship
These programs are free and open to the public. Anyone seeking special accommodations should notify the St. Lucie County Cooperative Extension staff at least 24 hours prior to the program.
