Thursday, February 11, 2010 - Extension Office Offers New Monthly Money Management Series Starting March 1

Starting in March, the University of Florida/IFAS-St. Lucie County Cooperative Extension Office will begin offering a free Monthly Money Meeting at Morningside Branch Library on the first Monday of each month.

These evening discussion sessions will provide participants with no-nonsense answers to financial questions and provide tools that residents and families can use to eliminate debt, build wealth and develop their financial future.  Each month a new subject will be addressed by Extension staff and industry professionals, starting at 6 p.m. Topics scheduled to be discussed include:

• March 1 - Budgets Don't Work, Spending Plans Do!
• April 5 - The Best Way to Control My Credit
• May 3 - Saving and Investing is a Present for My Future
• June 5 - Love and Money: The Ultimate Relationship

These programs are free and open to the public.
