Monday, February 15, 2010 - Fort Pierce Library Hosts Author Teri Pinney Feb. 27

Local author Teri Pinney will be presenting her latest book, "The Missing Heart: Chronicles of an Educator," at the Fort Pierce Branch Library on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 9 a.m. - noon.

"The Missing Heart: Chronicles of an Educator" details Pinney's experience in an educational system under No Child Left Behind and the challenges that went along with that.

The author of two books, Pinney is a former teacher and high school administrator, who lives in Port St. Lucie. In addition to her books, she stays busy coordinating grants for local non-profits, volunteering and writing feature articles and guest editorials.
