Tuesday, October 5, 2010 - Extension Offers Limited Certification Training Oct. 22

On Friday, Oct. 22, the University of Florida / IFAS – St. Lucie County Cooperative Extension will be sponsoring a limited pesticide certification training program titled "Complying with Today's Pesticide Licensing."  By law if a commercial landscape maintenance worker is applying caution label pesticides / herbicides to plant beds in the landscape that worker must be in possession of a Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance license.  As part of obtaining a Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance license, the operator is required to attend a six-hour limited commercial landscape maintenance class and pass an exam. This workshop is designed to complete the six-class-hour requirement while preparing you to successfully pass the limited commercial landscape maintenance exam.
