Tuesday, November 9, 2010 - Fort Pierce Library Hosts Fatherhood Program Nov. 23
The Fort Pierce Branch Library continues its parenting program "Father & Child Connection" on Tuesday, Nov. 23 from 6 - 7 p.m.The workshop will focus on "Self-Nurturing Skills." This event is free and open to the public. Fathers will have the opportunity to reflect on how and where they were raised as a way to better relate to the feelings and needs of their children.
Presented by the Early Learning Coalition of St. Lucie County and funded through the Children's Services Council, this program will focus on the unique impact fathers make in raising healthy children and how to become involved early in a child's life, as well as, the roots of fatherhood and becoming a positive role model as a father.
