Wednesday, March 30, 2011 - Cooperative Extension Office Hosts Listening Session April 15
The St. Lucie County Extension Office is in the process of developing a long-range plan to guide educational programs for the next decade. Some of the points to be discussed include the strengths, values, and trends of our community, along with issues that may be threatening or detrimental to our area. Once these points are identified, discussion will turn to how St. Lucie County Extension can address these topics through educational programming.The public is invited to join community leaders in a listening session to be held on Friday, April 15 at the UF/IFAS St. Lucie County Hurricane House beginning at 9 a.m. until noon. It's anticipated that the discussion will take approximately two and half to three hours.
