Monday, June 6, 2011 - Slither To The Oxbow June 11 For A Reptilian Nature For FamiliesWhat lays eggs, is covered by scales or scutes, and is cold-blooded? A reptile, of course. Learn about the different kinds of reptiles from around the world, including crocodilians, lizards, snakes and turtles at the Oxbow Eco-Center’s Nature for Families program on Saturday, June 11 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Bring your dad along for this Radical Reptile Adventure and have your picture taken with one of Oxbow’s slithering ambassadors. You’ll design a reptile of your own to take home or give to dad for Father’s Day.
Nature for Families is appropriate for ages 5 and up and is designed to involve parents and children. Admission is $3 per participant and reservations are a must. For more information contact Jill Arnold at 772-785-5833 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.oxboweco.com.
